ALT-C 2019: More sessions that you can shake a stick (of Edinburgh rock) at

Next week the Association for Learning Technology Conference is taking place over 3 days in Edinburgh, and I’m spending my Sunday evening thinking about and prepping for my sessions. It’s a big conference and I’m delighted that it’s in Edinburgh because, by being local, it means more of my team and my University colleagues have a chance to attend. The Learning, Teaching and Web Services Directorate at Edinburgh is a big group (over 100 of us) and we work across physical and virtual teaching spaces, websites, the University portal, IT and digital skills training and much more. That means we have an enormous skill set to draw upon, and we do a lot of work across a lot of different areas in a year.

We submitted a bumper crop of presentation proposals and to our delight they were pretty much all accepted. Many of our lovely colleagues from other parts of the University also did the same, and so I’ve created an extract of the conference programme below with all the sessions from University of Edinburgh people. If you want to get a flavour of the kinds of work we do, then please do check our sessions, virtually or in person (things below with a smiley face are from LTW specifically).

…and if you like what you see, this is where we advertise jobs.
